Ronal Butler

Mr. Ronal Butler has over twenty years of progressively responsible experience in program management, computer networking, and data telecommunications. Experience includes project management of LANs, WANs, user help desks and user training.
 
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Mr. Butler has lived in Northern Virginia since 1980. Currently, Mr. Butler is the President/CEO of Networking & Engineering Technologies, Inc. (N.E.T.) N.E.T was established in 1995 to provide networking and computer support for both government and commercial clients. We are able to leverage both our extensive private sector and federal government experience to benefit clients and government agencies. The focus of N.E.T. is to provide state-of-the-art computer solutions driven by our client's needs.
 
Mr. Butler’s leadership skills are evidenced by the offices he has held in the following organizations: President of the local alumni chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha National Fraternity; Chairman of the Board of Directors of the OLA Education Foundation; and Co-chair of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Youth at Risk Foundation. In addition, he served as Chairman of the Board for the Capital Hill Computer Corner.
 
Mr. Butler currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra. He is a Board Member of the Northern Virginia Urban League, as well as a Board Member of the Boulé Education Foundation of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, and he serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Ira Dorsey Scholarship Endowment Foundation. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International and serves on the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Rotary Club.  In addition, Mr. Butler was inducted as an Eminent Engineer by Tau Beta Pi, the national engineering honor society.
 
Mr. Butler earned his Bachelors degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute. He also has a Masters degree in Engineering Management, which he earned from Catholic University.
